Equipment Reliability Process in Krško NPP

To ensure long-term safe and reliable plant operation, equipment operability availability must also be ensured by setting a group of processes to established within the nuclear power plant. Equipment reliability process represents integration coordination important activities into one process, which enables performance condition monitoring, preventive maintenance development, implementation optimization, continuous improvement long term planning. The initiative for introducing systematic approach assuring came from US industry guided INPO (Institute Nuclear Power Operations) participation several utilities. As result initiative, first edition document AP-913, ‘Equipment Reliability Process Description’ was issued it became basic whole industry. scope in Krško NPP consists following programs: criticality classification, program, corrective action system health reports investment plan. By implementation, supervision those programs, more than thirty years operating experience, will continue on track operation until end prolonged life time.
